I'm excited to find out what the potter is making with this mixture of Theology, Leadership and Comparative Education clay. Because I've watched him stretch it to amazing lengths, knead it with much pressure to the point of it almost being without form and also when he would gentry brush it with his hand bringing to a great shape.
Remember Jose, that the wonderful advantage of clay is that the potter can wipe out any mistakes and start again.

I read your blog today. So inspiring and absolutely amazing. I really liked Tebo's comment as well. What a wonderful mixture of the clay of theology, leadership & comparative education!
I must say that I am absolutely impressed with the Master potter's assistant too(i.e Tebo) to be the constant source of inspiration like the potter's wheel!

É com agrado e uma profunda satisfação que vejo parte da nossa geração, (ex-crianças/adolescentes que fomos numa época que foi importante em Moçambique,... tempos do Samora), crescida, com obejectivos e projectos de vida, com base sólida e vontades bem visiveis, com esperança nos olhos e nas mãos para que o futuro próximo não seja tão drástico, tão doloroso, sofredor...
É uma luta dificil de se vencer... mas não será em vão, pois cada gota que cai num imenso oceano, acaba por fazer a diferença... pouca, mas a mudança terá de acontecer, seja para que lado fôr!!!
É já mais do que URGENTE mover contra o mal, contra as injustiças, contra a IGNORÂNCIA.
Saber dar, para podermos saber receber.
Dar é saber ensinar. Ensinar a trabalhar, a produzir, a crescer, ensinar a lutar, ensinar a amar, ensinar a ser HUMANO.
O que se faz em África, meu amigo, é um erro brutal. O que se ensina na maior parte das vezes, é a preguiça, o encostar às ajudas diárias de outros países. Erros propositados, pois aos paises ricos convem a existência da pobreza e da ignorância.
Entendes-me?

Àfrica é usada como palco da medicina, dos laboratórios farmacêuticos, das experiências mais estúpidas dos paises ricos, da exploração brutal das suas riquezas naturais. Estão se nas tintas para as gerações de hoje e futuras daquele continente.
Peço desculpas por este comentário alongado... passei-me... há coisas que me custam muito presenciar e aceitar.
Por isso, acho belo o que tu e a tua mulher estão a construir. O caminho que optaram para fazer a diferença.
